Optical Engineering 2014
Patent Attorney Dr. Zvi Teff and scientific advisor Rodik Ulman attended the conference on Optical Engineering, at ORT Hermelin College. There were about a hundred participants including several IDF officers. Opening remarks of the Minister of Science opened the event. A variety of companies from to Israeli Optical Engineering community presented their products whilst their developments are located abroad. Topics were targeted to the optical engineering community and it has enabled us to create new contacts with leaders in the field. The lecturer on Green Optics talked about innovations in solar cells that provide higher efficiencies than current products today. Many participants were very aware of issues on patents and provisionals what allowed us to run professional and flowing discussions. Particularly interesting was the presentation of Brightsource Industries who talked about solar cells for the production of electricity in huge farms . They reviewed their activities in the United States. Gold Patents’ booth had an extraordinary location allowing free access to visitors and discreet conversations with potential clients. We will definitely consider attending this conference next year. In this opportunity we would like to thank all participants who visited us in our booth. Big thanks to the organizers as well ! Gold Patent joined three of its clients at WATEC to enjoy the fruits of innovation combined with IP strategy of registering patents and designs. We congratulate them on their success measured by the interest and excitement of the visitors in the exhibition. Gold Patents takes stage at the London Patent Summit 2013,

Now that the LPS, London Patent Summit 2013 is behind us, we can say that the event was fruitful in generating new leads for Gold Patents firm.
The company’s staff joined around 200 IP professionals and other 30 exhibitors from across the world at the LPS that was hosted in the London Stock Exchange, City of London. We met dozens of IP experts and exchange ideas and issues.
Many delegates visited Gold Patents company’s booth and discussed current hot topics in IP, shared ideas and strategies. Gold Patents Director and Israeli Patent Attorney, Dr. Marganit (Maggie) Goldraich moderated the panel on:
Strategic Use of Patents and Investments in Innovation
With the two leading panelists from the US, Alfi Guindi , Senior IP Counsel, from Rockstar Consortium and Mark Davis, Senior Litigation Attorney, from BlackBerry, Maggie led this panel discussion that dealt with standard essential patent (SEP) issues and several IP test cases in the US. It was interesting to see how Intellectual Property as a valuable asset intertwined with the adequate strategy is becoming of great interest for financial experts.
The panel was well received and generated many leads for future cooperation. We are looking forward to providing our new acquaintances and partners we met at the LPS with our expertise in filing IP in Israel.
